Missouri Foundation for Health to Host Community Forum
St. Louis, July 25 -The Missouri Foundation for Health (MFH) will hold a public forum in Greenfield, Tuesday, August 9 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Dade County Senior Center, 58 North Allison.
The purpose of the forum will be to introduce MFH to the community and to receive feedback from attendees on their needs and personal stories regarding their experience as being uninsured or underinsured. Invitees include individuals and community members from communities in Barton, Cedar, Dade, Greene, Jasper, Polk, and Lawrence counties. The local co-sponsor for the forum is County Connections. Comments and discussion will be gathered at the forum in the effort to educate policymakers and the public regarding the significance of the lack of health insurance for thousands of Missourians.

Established in January of 2000 through the for-profit conversion of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Missouri, MFH is the largest health care foundation in the state and the second largest health conversion foundation in the country.
