American Telemedicine Association (ATA)

Description: The ATA promotes access to medical care for
consumers and health professionals via telecommunications technology. ATA seeks
to bring together diverse groups from traditional medicine, academic medical
centers, telecommunications companies, medical societies, government and others
to overcome barriers to the advancement of telemedicine through the
professional, ethical and equitable improvement in health care delivery.
Information Available: a telemedicine buyer’s guide, resource center on the
2009 Economic Stimulus package, conferences, forums, news, policy issues,
journal articles and other opportunities for ATA members.

Description: TIE is a comprehensive, international,

by the Association of
