Sandra J. Ahlum, MD

An OB/Gyn in private practice, Dr. Sandra Ahlum has served rural northeast Missouri for 27 years. Ahlum first came to Hannibal to fulfill an obligation with the National Health Service Corps to practice in a physician-shortage area. She currently serves as chairperson of two 501(c)3s: Hannibal Clinic Health Services, whose mission is to promote health through education, and the CHART Teen Task Force, which is working on the high rates of teen pregnancy and STD’s in northeast Missouri. She is the volunteer Medical Director of NECAC Family Planning Clinic, and is councilor representing northeast Missouri for the Missouri State Medical Association. She joined the MFH Board in 2005.
