APPLICATION PERIOD FOR 2013 BOARD NOMINATIONS OPENS IN JUNE 2012
The 2011 application period to join the MFH Board of Directors is closed. MFH will be seeking applicants for its Board of Directors again in June 2012.
The
MFH 15-member board
governs MFH's efforts to fund nonprofits working to improve the health of the state's uninsured, underinsured and underserved residents. MFH is the largest non-governmental funder of community health activities in Missouri, and is the third largest health care conversion foundation in the U.S.
Applicants must live within the
MFH service region
, which includes 84 Missouri counties and the City of St. Louis. MFH is committed to a Board that represents Missouri's gender, racial, cultural, geographic and ethnic diversity.
MFH's
Community Advisory Council
(CAC) is responsible for identifying and nominating candidates for the Board.
