Tim Swinfard

Tim Swinfard is the chief executive officer of Missouri Coalition of Community Mental Health Centers. The Coalition has led efforts in Missouri to integrate primary care with behavioral healthcare and to implement disease management services for those with co-morbid chronic health conditions. He gained considerable amount of experience at Burrell Behavioral Health where he served from 1991-2005. Swinfard was Burrell’s vice president of operations for the 6 years prior to joining the Missouri Coalition of Community Mental Health Centers. Swinfard earned a bachelor of science in psychology from the Missouri University of Science and Technology and a master of science in counseling from Missouri State University. He is a licensed professional counselor. He served 2 years as the chair of the Community Advisory Committee for the Missouri Foundation for Health. He was recently elected to a two-year term on the Board of Directors Committee of the National Council for Community Behavioral Healthcare.
