Corinne A. Walentik, MD, MPH, St. Louis
Dr. Corinne Walentik is Professor of Pediatrics, Division of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, Saint Louis University and Physician Executive for Managed Care and Public Policy for Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital. She joined MFH’s Community Advisory Council (CAC) in 2000, and served as its chair in 2006. Walentik serves on numerous boards and committees in the community, including the St. Louis Regional Health Commission where she chairs the Provider Services Advisory Board, along with Nurses for Newborns Foundation,The St. Louis ARC, and Childgarden Child Development Center.She was a founding member of the St Louis Maternal, Child and Family Health Coalition and is a Past President of the Missouri chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She has received many awards, including the Martin Luther King Jr. Life and Legacy Award, the Child Advocate of the Year, Non Social Worker of the Year,and the Champion for Babies Award and is a 2011 St Louis Woman of Achievement. She is a graduate of Leadership St. Louis and was honored as one of Saint Louis University’s Women of the Year in 2005. Walentik joined the MFH Board of Directors in 2007 and is in her second term as vice chair of the board.
