Tim Swinfard, who joined the Community Advisory Committee in 2007, is the chief executive officer of Missouri Coalition of Community Mental Health Centers. He gained a considerable amount of experience in management and mental health care at Burrell Behavioral Health, where he served from 1991 until 2005. Swinfard was Burrell’s vice president of operations for six years prior to joining the Missouri Coalition of Community Mental Health Centers. He has participated on the boards of Community Partnership of the Ozarks, Caring Communities, Safe Schools Healthy Students, and NAMI of Southwest Missouri. He received his bachelor of science in psychology from the Missouri University of Science and Technology and a master of science in counseling from Missouri State University.
